Here are our five Golden Rules:

These were developed with the staff and children of the school though the School Council and agreed by the governors.

We use positive and assertive behaviour management at Kempsey Primary School to reinforce these rules and we always try to catch children being good and recognise and reward children following the Golden Rules. There are many ways in which we do this and these are set out in our Behaviour Management Policy. There are times however when children ‘break the rules’ and we use appropriate consequences which provide clear guidance about how to ‘get it right’ next time. Again these are set out in our Behaviour Management Policy.

Parents/Carers will be asked to sign and support our Home School Agreement which is designed to enable good partnership between school and home.
